About ULAX



ULAX was founded in 1901. The company has a very long tradition in making filters for the agricultural sector. This production has now been phased out. In 1980 development and manufacturing of products for the medical field was initiated. Special focus has been put on the moisturing process for air in respiratory applications.

Today we are specializing in development and manufacturing of state of the art Heat and Moisture Exchangers - HME's - for respiratory use. We are delivering both a standard range of products as well as OEM products according to customers own specification. ULAX is a highly international company with customers spread around the globe, from Far East to America.

We are FDA registered and are also ISO-certified according to SS-EN ISO 9001:2000 as well as SS-EN ISO 13485:2003. The company is also carrying the EC certificate - Production Quality Assurance System Approval Certificate according to Annex V of the Directive 93/42/EEC on Medical Devices.

Care for the environment is one of the key issues when we select production methods and material. Our quality policy assures full traceability of material and labour in every production step from raw material to finished products.
