Axon is a public company with more than 50 years of experience in designing and manufacturing of plastics machinery, today covering mini-extruders & production-extruders, complete extrusion lines and extruder dies from 10 mm screw diameter up to 125 mm screw diameter. Also intensive mixing machines, silicone-rubber extruders and a great number of up-stream and down-stream equipment for extrusion processes are manufactured by us.

Axon was founded in 1945 by Mr Tore Akesson and his brother, Mr. Bertil Akesson and is today operated by Mr. Tore Akesson as the chairman and his son, Mr. Mats Akesson as the General Manager. The key to Axon´s success is extensive know-how and its patents, combined with long experience that follows the development of the modern thermoplastic polymers and elastomers as well as the modern liquid reactive polymers. The name AXON is the phonetic transcription of the Swedish family name "AKESSON".
