Mobiletech was founded in April 2005 by an innovative team of telecommunication, banking and investment professionals. The entrepreneurs saw a need to create a platform to bring the worlds of content and mobile together in a way that would create great user experiences for people using mobile devices to view the Web. Since 2005 Mobiletech has grown to be one of the most respected mobile companies in the Nordics, powering the mobile presence of many of the largest media assets in the region.

Mobiletech has been recognised as the most innovative company in the Digital Media landscape in the Nordic region by Telenor, winning the 2008 Digital Winners prize, and has been named a Red Herring Top 100 Europe winner 2008.
