Nova Diamant uses CVD diamond which is pure microcrystalline diamond. This is a material that is grown in a vaccum chamber directly into the desired shape. As source material Methan is used which then is dilutet to 1% into hydrogen. This is relatively new method that was discovered in the 80:s by scientists in Japan.
