Spacemetric

Spacemetric provides image management solutions for satellite and airborne sensors. These systems improve data access and streamline the process between image acquisition and application. Spacemetric was founded in 1999 and today has both civilian and defence customers.

Spacemetric strives to be a good partner and works closely with satellite operators, service providers and system integrators. Spacemetric offers cost-effective solutions to each customer, an approach made possible by generic product components that can be readily customised to address specific needs.

Customer solutions range from simple production systems to complete image management solutions for multi-terabyte archives. These incorporate data archiving, cataloguing, ordering, production and delivery functions. Process automation is a specific area of focus supported by advanced servers. Effective tools for operator support are also available for interactive processes.

Spacemetric's systems run on mainstream hardware and are based on standard technologies including Java and SOAP. They are interfaced using OGC/ISO standards such as Web Map Services.
